I have started moving & linking files in tables - for my current units- and I already feel more organized! I did the Google organization with you and I thought organizing folders and creating a naming system would be great- it was better but honestly this hub idea is amazing!!! Seeing everything in one spot and being able to click and go to the exact slide I need has already made my life feel less chaotic in just 2 days!

I work as a digital organizer but before that I taught middle and high school Spanish for 10 years.
My first year of teaching I had 5 different preps and my second year I had 6! I know a thing or two about juggling lots of units and resources.
Spoiler alert: I did a terrible job organizing everything my first year of teaching and it cost me HOURS of wasted time and energy getting my shit sorted out the second year. I knew I had to get a better system.
After a few years of refinement, I ended up with unit hubs that kept me sane and kept me from working 24/7 searching for my plans and resources. I want to share that with you!
I'll show you the skills you need to create your own unit hubs so you can drink your coffee hot in the morning instead of panic-searching* for what you need the morning of the lesson.
*If "panic-search" isn't a word, it should be because we've all been there, amirite?
Take a look at an example of a unit hub:
You can make your unit hub in whatever format or colors you'd like! I show you the skills and you create what works for you. The example above is the finished hub I create in the course.

I love the checklist and was immediately using it in my documents to recall skills or tools I could use. I used the skills in a meeting for reading. The fact I was taking the time to make my document look more “official” with colors and such, made the reading intervention teacher realize this wasn’t just another document.
- How long do I have access to the course? What about updates? You have access to the course for as long as it exists. *IF* I would ever discontinue the course, I'd make all the videos downloadable so you could save a copy.
You will receive an updates and additions. So when Google inevitably adds cool, new features, I'll update the course with that info! - How long will it take me to get through the course? The course is about 90 minutes long, broken in to 9 separate modules. The longest video is 12 minutes long. It's designed for you to create a long with the modules so when you've done with the course, you'll have a finished unit hub!
- What if I'm notYes! I show you how to use Google Docs which is a very easy-to-use platform. Each video shows and tells you exactly what to click and what to do.

I had a lot of "plates spinning" in my unit hub training, and Lisa managed to keep them all in place and make sure that everything was accounted for. Now all my components don't seem like such a big lift.
